PWM Control¶
PWM models take a standard RC servo signal, so any RC receiver, flight controller or microcontroller timer output drives them directly.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Pulse width | 1000–2000 µs |
| Centre | 1500 µs |
| Frame rate | about 50 Hz (20 ms period) |
| Supply voltage | 3.6–10 V (1S or 2S LiPo direct) |
To be confirmed
Wire colours, the exact travel per microsecond, and whether the servo accepts higher frame rates (e.g. 333 Hz) are not published yet. Ask us if you need them now.
Wiring¶
| Wire | Function |
|---|---|
| Signal | PWM input |
| V+ | Supply, 3.6–10 V |
| GND | Ground, common with the controller |
Separate supply
Do not feed the servo from the controller's regulator. A stalling servo pulls enough current to brown out a microcontroller. Use a separate supply with a common ground, or add bulk capacitance close to the servo.
Example: Arduino¶
#include <Servo.h>
Servo s;
void setup() {
s.attach(9, 1000, 2000); // pin 9, pulse range 1000–2000 us
s.writeMicroseconds(1500); // centre
}
void loop() {
s.writeMicroseconds(1000);
delay(1000);
s.writeMicroseconds(2000);
delay(1000);
}
